Obama’s successful 2008 campaign marked the first time in recent history branding & design played such a pivotal role in a Presidential bid. In this episode, we are joined by the projects Design Director of New Media, Scott Thomas.
From designing a plane while it’s in flight to the perfect blue book cloth. For us, this is an exciting interview because most designers will never see a project like this - one that is running full speed while it’s being worked in a seen-by-a-million-people-instantly kind of way. Hey guys, I just got into the podcast and the first thing that struck me was how great the music choices are. PLUS, you don't let them overpower the show by placing them at appropriate times. "Changes Is" is a damn good song, by the way, and that whole interview with the "Designing Obama" guys was brilliant. Keep up the good work. I don't know if I can speak for everybody, but I'm definitely entertained by the podcast and always get some knowledge from it, which I guess is the point of its existence. Or you just like hearing yourselves talk (that's the main reason I'd start a podcast, anyway).
Very interesting, entertaining and well produced podcast. And, like Nathan said, very nice music choices too. I am looking forward to listen to a lot more nice interviews to come. Keep up the good work and thanks a lot.
I think Obama would have been even more succesful with a more robust campaign. A lot of people were alienated by his too sharp, shiny and "successful" image and this is carrying on to his presidency with substantially lower popularity ratings.than expected.
There is a perception of the youthful tyrant´s smile for many of his opponents.
He and his campaign team are too cocky and certain of his "brand creativity" and it works against him - leading too personal lapses like playing way too much golf (More than the previous George the Second) or treating foreign dignitaries who directly do not compete or benefit his strategic views with contempt in Eastern Europe and elsewhere. This will be his downfall, not the Tea Parties, the Birthers or the economy, for that matter.
I propose not to wait until you get enough cash to order different goods! You should just take the loans or credit loan and feel yourself fine
