Scott Thomas {42} Designing Obama

Obama’s successful 2008 campaign marked the first time in recent history branding & design played such a pivotal role in a Presidential bid. In this episode, we are joined by the projects Design Director of New Media, Scott Thomas.

From designing a plane while it’s in flight to the perfect blue book cloth. For us, this is an exciting interview because most designers will never see a project like this - one that is running full speed while it’s being worked in a seen-by-a-million-people-instantly kind of way.  In addition, you’ll learn how the job was won and how many people it took to make it happen.  We’ll also discuss a little about self-publishing and why you might consider such a thing when you publish your book.
